Cry, Even Better If You Beg

At just 12 years old, Layla Llewellyn faces the tragedy of losing her parents and is subsequently shuffled between indifferent relatives until she is sent to a foreign land. Upon arriving in the Empire of Berg, she finds herself under the care of Bill Remmer, a distant relative who appears to prioritize his job as a groundskeeper for the esteemed Herhardt family over anything else. After enduring years of neglect, Layla longs for a true home, but her interactions with the charming Duke Matthias von Herhardt and the complexities of high society present numerous challenges for her kind-hearted spirit.
